Does the mere word "[SEAL]" after signature make this a sealed instrument? Caselaw reference appreciated.

SEAL...When I see that word I think of Navy Seal, which makes me think of big, buff guys with shaved heads all sweaty and, oh my!

Surely it can't be that easy...
Shouldn't the seal be something a little more official like a stamp or pattern in the paper or something?
Unfortunately for you I know nothing of the law.
I have no clue why I am even answering this question, come to think of it.
