We were planning to go to Vegas this summer and it was our very first chance traveling together. I was happily doing research online when he asked me if I mind if he asks his parents along but not hanging out together. I got very pissed because he was the one saying " I don't want to go with other people, it's supposed to be OUR trip" when I mentioned to him awhile ago some friends were going to vegas as well. I told him I mind and he later text msged me saying " it was just a quick thought. I just wish you were a better person." Am I not a good person because I care having his parents tagging along? Wouldn't you guys be mad as well?

Yeah, if he doesn't want "anyone else" along, that should include his parents. He's the one that's not a better person in this situation. Good luck.

A better person??? he actually said that to you? You might want to consider how close you get to this person. Sounds like he is a mamas boy, and parents will come before you always.

You know what, if I were you I would back out of the whole trip and tell him to go with his parents.
AND
I would be so mad I probably would even stop seeing the guy, If he did not think I was a good person what would be the point of even being with him?

Yeah, I would be upset too. But there's always the compromise, because if he already went and told the parents and they have their hopes up, you will be the 'Bad Guy" If his parents are pretty cool or they are gamblers or they like to go to dinners and shows, they can do that stuff while you and your man does stuff. It will work out, provided you all aren't sharing a room! I would not say you are a bad person...Whose friends are they, yours? Yet he does not want them around but would take his parents? It sounds like your boyfriend is being a bit selfish, not you! If he won't budge on the idea make a compromise...If the parents go, then he has no room to complain about the friends! It sounds like your friends will be around but has their own accommodations, the same should apply to the parents...They get their own room separate from you and boyfriend.
Trust me, I've been to Vegas many times. There's plenty to do for everyone so you and your boyfriend can easily have together time.

What is your boyfriend,Is he mommy boy.....Sorry but most couples want to go along to enjoy each others company....And have a nice candle light dinner and a loving closeness of great sex.....No way in HELL,are you going to do this, with mommy boys parents tagging along.....No couple, would even think of asking their parent along....You need to rethink about your relationship with mommy boy.....It seems to me,hes still tied to mommy and doesn't what to let go....His mommy will always come before you....SO,if you want to be happy, rethink your relationship.... Good Luck Sweety,You Will Need It.....

I cannot get involved in family issues. Heck, what's one or two more people? You can invite all of your friends and cousins to go. Oh, you can also invite your parents and grandparents. Heck, if you pay for my ticket, I will go. If you take me along, please bring money for me to have fun. Thank you

Maybe he wanted you to bond with his parents. How long have you been dating? Do you think he was going to propose?

I think it's completely valid that you just want to go on the trip with him alone. Maybe you should just try to talk to him about it again.

Good luck!
