You are very young. There is plenty of time for you to develop a skill that does not rely heavily on "academic" subjects.

Do you have any hobbies? Almost any hobby can lead to a career, if you think creatively about it. If you have any talent for music or art or athletics, there are careers in those fields. Do you make things? Could you develop a skill there, and become a master craftsman or related professional? Do you have a good eye for a bargain, and could make your way as a buyer for a shop? There are thousands of careers that do not rely on an academic degree, and the advantage is you get to start earlier than those who must slog through four years of college.

You need to be able to assess your strengths and weaknesses, your likes and dislikes, as honestly as possible. I strongly recommend you get a copy of "What Color is Your Parachute?" to do this self-analysis. A second-hand one will do, as it does not need to be the most current one. You are too young to be actively seeking employment yet. But it will get you thinking about what you can do, and channel your energies into developing what you do best.

Good luck! And if you find you are a competent sculptor or designer, and start making dolls for a living, let me know. I'd love to be one of your first customers!

You've got the rest of your life to get that parachute to open, forget about it for now (a little skydiving humor)... Now is not the time to be reading that book. Leave it for later. I mean, read it if you want, but it won't help you a lot just yet.

One of the most successful people I know worked as a waiter at the restaurant that all the local management types frequented. They all made him job offers on a regular basis. When he got out of high school, he'd listened in on all the best business ideas the city had to offer. Now, (15 years later) he works in Washington D.C. as a Congressional Aide. Big bucks there, let me tell ya.

But, for the record, you're younger than my daughter. I'VE GOT PANTS THAT ARE OLDER THAN YOU! You have plenty of time to study, and make your mark on the world. Some people bloom later than others (I think you'll be one of the first). Keep working hard, you'll be just fine. You're already more self-conscious than anyone your age I've ever met. Don't choose a career too soon. You WILL live to regret it.

I look forward to your follow-up question in two years...

At only 13 years of age you should simply incline toward subjects that you enjoy, and therefore excel? This may be Art, Sciences, Languages, etc.. So long as you have good grades on your core subjects, the options will remain open for you when you are ready to choose your career. Many don't really know what they want to do until the leave university! Best to choose a broad range of subjects until you have decided? Good Luck!!

human beings so frequently confuse money with happiness…so unhappy…and so pathetic… Happiness is a decision the position money is in simple terms the potential to purchase the on a daily basis bread and butter. One may even upload the on a daily basis caviar and nonetheless be no happier than previously. figuring out on to be happy in simple terms because I’m alive has no longer some thing to do with how a lot money i am going to spend to purchase branded products. Happiness is a state of beingness, one which we assume or negate through decision.

I dont think your best option is becoming a spelling teacher... Work hard and maybe you could get a job working with your hands. Of course, that would be without a pencil in it.....
