One night stands?

anyone had one? Did you regret it or enjoy it enough to do it again?

I did it a few times when i was in my late teens early twenties. I was safe all the time and always made sure if i met someone while out- my friends had my phone number and knew where i was going just in case i got into trouble.

I don't regret it one bit- i didnt pick up any nasty std's and certainly didnt fall pregnant and nobody got hurt.

Thats one part of my life i keep locked away now though cos i'm married with kids

I had one, and it was worth it, I was single at the time and had fancied this boy for months and months, every time I went into the shop where he worked we made eye contact and it was obvious we fancied each other. I eventually got a job in the same place as him (different departments so we did not see each other often) and we went out on a staff night out, we had spoken quite often in the staff room and I wanted him all the more after getting to know him a bit better. We ended up walking through the town together and across the park where we let passion get the better of us, it was fantastic, every bit as good as I imagined it would be. He told me the next day that he had a girlfriend, I did not know this at the time or I would not have slept with him but to be honest, I did not want a relationship with him, I was happy being single and did not want to wreck his relationship so was happy just to have my memories. He has married the girl he was with and they have a baby, he has been faithful to his g/f since then, I know as we stayed friends

I have never had one. I am sure some people regret it and others enjoyed it. There is a thrill in it, I'm sure, but it takes a certain type of person (a not anxious one) to continue with that kind of behavior. Whatever floats your boat. Just be safe! :)

have had many in my time. never regreted any of them. its like two ships passing in the night. had many where we became great friends no strings attached. a one night stand is like a stranger that is a friend you haven't met yet. i would do it again if the chemistry is there for it. you don't have to be at a bar drunk to do it either. with one nighters, you don't have any complications of any relationship if your not ready for one yet. then again, one of those one night stands is how you find your partner too.

Reading the answers to your question sure sheds a lot of light on how sexually repressed this country is. Sex is normal. Sex is a good thing. Deseases are definitely something to consider, but with adequate protection, should not prevent you from doing what feels good. Sex doesn't have to have strings attached.

Use them to keep your confidence up, make new friends, training and learning on what to do and practice for when you meet someoen really specail you know what to do and have the self worth that you are with this person as specail. Not as thats all you can get.

I had one, one night when I was really drunk. I woke up not knowing who's house I was even in. I would never ever do that again.
