What am I supposed to wear and change my hair to. I know I should stay true to myself I really do, but it has only brought me trouble and misery. So please hold those answers and just tell me advice and what to do.

Workout, get in shape, lift weights and take self defense classes. No not to fight, but to build up your self esteem and confidence. I'm only 5'9" but no one messed with me in High School because I didn't put up with anything from anyone.

It is easy for people to tell you to not change yourself and to ignore their comments. Any changes you want to make should be because you want it for yourself and not to please others. If you feel your weight is a factor check with your doctor before you diet so you can be healthier. When you get your haircut ask ask the stylist if they could suggest a new style. If you want to change clothes make sure you wear what you feel comfortable in because if you don't like the style you will look awkward.Remember any changes you make outwardly will be simply cosmetic, you will still be they same person inside. When you enter high school there are usually clubs you can join. There are usually activities that will interest most people.EVERYONE feels awkward entering high school everything is new the teachers, new students , new subjects and new opportunities. You may be shy, I don't know, but you owe it to yourself to get the most out of your high school experience. Most students find their comfort zone and make a few new friends.Sometimes you have to make the first move and say hello first.Over the summer maybe you have a teen centre in your area of could join a club and make new friend. You could do volunteer work and it would build your confidence in new situations. Good luck to you.

you named the problem that you need to work on--your weight... it is a healthy choice... i dont know if you are over-weight or thin... i was picked on cuz i was "just right" as my dad would tell me and the others were just jealous...but if you are over-weight, spend time this summer going bicycle riding, walking, swimming...outdoor activities... and eat better, dont gorge yourself... and drink more water... i read that the mind cant tell the difference between hunger and thirst so many eat thinking they are hungry when in fact they are really thirsty....

dont worry ...high school is something we all have to go through and then in 4 years it is over... freshman year is tough on everyone because you are on the bottom of the rung (low in rank) in a new atmosphere and others have "seniority" over you... dont think it is just you if it gets tough...it is that way with everyone, you just may not realize it...

one day you will look back on all this, the name tags and all that stuff, and realize that we are all the same....we all have insecurities and things we dont like about ourselves...there is something we can say negatively about everyone... you will wonder who made those who were "popular" popular, because the ones thought to be the pretty ones really werent all that pretty, and the jocks, many were jerks and probably still are...

so be happy about who you are...there is only one of you and there will never ever be another someone like you.... make whatever changes you want to make to yourself for you ... dont worry about all the other people.... like i said, the day will come when you will look back and laugh in wonder

you cant make everyone happy so stop trying to jump through hoops

Things will get better in highschool! Don't change yourself over crap like that. In highschool things will be better. There will be more students and there will be some that don't pick on you. If you're not proud of your weight then go on a diet and get some exercise so at least you're getting in shape whether you lose a lot of weight or not. Just do what you want to do and wear what you want to wear and they'll get over it. If you let them get to you they'll only pick on you more.

Try not to sleep for more than 7 hours a day.Start with brisk walking[atleast 2 miles in the beginning].After a week of brisk walking, supplkement it with 40 push ups- in the sets of affordable numbers ].After 15 days ,switch to jogging instead of walking and supplement it with sit ups[whatever number you are comfortable in].Maintain this and take minimum sugar. All the best.

Make sure you are eating enough protein and go to the gym and pump some iron! Make sure someone helps you so you don't over do it. Take a karate, kung fu, or some other martial arts class to give you strength and confidence, don't let it get to your head and don't become a bully yourself.

also pray, God can help you.
good luck

well for 1 you cant change who you are but you can try exercise and dying your hair well you go to stores and buy nice clothes. I been in your situation before i was picked on in midde school and high school i was short in middle school til up my junior year but i didnt change myself i just didnt listen to people and i tried not to but i know its hard. But if people tease you how you look dont listen to them they like to make them feel better about theirselfs. Everyone is special in their own way.
