Every1 has a conscience. Every1 at a time will ignore their conscience due to a situation and the person's personality. What makes a person good is when the person listens to the good side and makes a person the bad is when a person listens to the bad side.My opinion.

I think that some people have had so much hurt in their life's that they can no longer see the good in life on in other people. People are not born bad and while i am not making excuses for the bad things they do, i think a lot of them may also have been victims. That does not mean that everyone who has had bad done to them will also do wrong, that is not the case as every different individual has their own way of coping with things. It could be that those people doing wrong have just become numb to peoples feelings because to feel they would also have to feel their own hurt.

There are a lot of answers to that question, how we turn out depends on lots of things really, doesnt it. I think our parents shape us more than we would like to think, they let us know what is expected of us. If we get love we find it easier to give love.
If you have had hard times you will understand other people when it happens to them and want to help out whereas if you are spoiled everything is about you!
Then there are the people that make a lasting impression on us, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad. The kind teacher that brought us on when we thought we could never do something, the bully that made us feel inferior due to his own hang ups. I could go on and I am sure we all have our stories.

psychopaths dont have a conscience, but everyone else does to a certain degree. what makes people act either in a good way or bad way is dependent on the situation and the person. just because someon does not do a good deed does not make them bad or lack a conscience, example: few years ago you stepped in and helped a woman who was being beaten up by her boyfriend, you step in and help....only to find that the woman shouts and screams at you to mind your own business, you later find that she got a bigger beating because of your interference. next time the same situation occurs you may not intervene, doesn't make you a bad person, but your past experience clouds your judgement. when people appear to act in a selfish manner and dont care about consequences, they may be working toward goals you are not aware of, for reasons you are not aware of, maybe they have been hurt and let down so much in the past that they focus on themselves cause they feel no-one has ever focused on them. i dont believe anyone is bad, i believe some people do bad things for what they believe to be right reasons, example: wife is dying from illness, you cant afford the medication that will save her life....would you steal it?? some people do more bad things than others, but if you look at their situation or their life it is usually explainable...not excuseable but explainable.

I truly feel this is something that you are born with.
You can take two children, of the same age, and upbringing, and give them a puppy. One child adores the pup, while the other finds pleasure from tormenting it.
It seems unfair in a strange way, because it almost makes you envy them. Wouldn't it be nice to walk around, and care for nothing, or no one but you. Instead, those of us who do, have that burden to carry the rest of our lives. But, I believe in the end, we may be better off.

God gave everybody a conscience, but the Bible says that if we go keep going against it, it becomes seared. (I think that's how it is spelled.) In the KJV 1 Timothy Chapter 1
Verse 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines fo devils;
Verse 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their consience seared with a hot iron;
Verse 3 Forbidding to marry, and comanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

We are all born with a conscience. People who do little things that their conscience tells them not to do slowly harden their conscience. Once it is hard enough there is not much they wont do.

our totalitarian roots makes us hurt others as we know the story behind "cain killing habel " in the book of genesis,and in the beginning we were created as pure and clean that's why we feel guilty cuz we know our reality as holly sons and daughters
