I've had my period for 3 weeks now and counting.
what do you think could be causing this?

i started using the ring back in May 2005
i got 1 depo shot in Feb 2006
and i am back on the ring now.

It could be a result of your birth control options, this is a question you should bring up with your doctor.. The only time i have bled like that was during a miscarriage, i know your on birth control but its never 100% sure.. go to the doctors, they can help you either way.

On the ring, they told me that your period would be longer (maybe even 15 days long!). But since it has been 3 weeks, maybe you should call your ocor and ask about it (just to be safe).

Could be anything- a reaction to the change of birth control methods to something more serious like endometriosis, best to check with your gynecologist to be sure.

i had my period for about a month also, after i started using the pill. it might just be the hormones going thru a little funk... but mine stopped thankfully after about a month...i didn't talk to a dr, b/c it wasn't really a bother too too much, but if you feel more confortable a drs. visit might be good.

need new birth control method..i use mine continuously..which means skipping the reminder pills..the last week, and i only spotted for like 5 days...but u need to talk to ur doctor
