Can someone install something on my computer to make it subject to their wireless remote?

If so, can they access my accounts and such as if they were me?

yes, its called spyware. This can be done either by you clicking on an attachment or them in your pc, literally only takes a second to install.
ps: never click on attachments that you do not know what they are.
to get rid of it, only way is to reformat your pc.

yea thats called a trojan.
hackers love to use trojans
