Physics (from the Greek, φυσικός (physikos), "natural", and φύσις (physis), "nature") is the science of Nature, from the quarks to the cosmos. Consequently, physics treats of the fundamental constituents of the universe, the forces they exert on one another, and the results produced by these forces. Sometimes, in modern physics, a more sophisticated approach is taken that incorporates elements of the three areas listed above; it relates to the laws of symmetry and conservation, such as those pertaining to energy, momentum, charge, and parity.

Physics is simply: The study of the laws which govern the universe, with reference to the mass and energy, of which it contains. Look up "The four fundamental forces." Each has it's own particle which carries it's force. Gravity=Graviton, Electro-Magnetism=Photon, Strong force=Gluon, weak force=W&Z particals. Above all...don't forget that E=MC2. or simply put, Energy and Mass are interchangable and are different aspects of the same thing. Mass and energy can never be distroyed but can only change states. Light (a photon) can travel the speed of light, because it has ZERO mass.
