Here's the gist of it, without copying verbatim from Google:
First, there are many different types of love. Since romantic love has got to be the most troublesome, I'll assume that's what you meant.
Romantic love is made up of three interrelated components - passion, commitment, and infatuation. Passion is an intense feeling, in this case the desire to be with someone (usually sexually). Commitment is the willingness to stick with someone through "thick and thin." Infatuation is the blind, oblivious state wherein all of one's attention is focused on another person. It is the "nothing else matters" thing that people feel.
Love is best, at least in my opinion, when these three things are balanced. If there is only infatuation, the relationship will be about as meaningful as one I had with a girl in the fourth grade. I can't remember her name. Having passion only can be fun, but without commitment, how can one not worry that the relationship will fail when passion fades. Having commitment only is similar to the old married couple who stays together simply because they really meant "til death do we part." While this may be respectable, how fulfilling can a relationship be with no infatuation or passion.

There are many love. I love my pets and I love my wife are not the same love. I love my parents and I love my co workers may be the same. When you love your girlfriend or wife, you don't look at whether she's hot or not. You love her because she has a great character, you love her although she have no make up and her breath stink. Love is easy to forgive, love care, love is passionate and etc. If you think she's hot and want to be with her right a way, you're lusting. When you lust, it quickly end because somebody better will surface. Love has an infinite definition.

many have very differant views as emotions, feelings and things done is love. true love comes within your heart and spirit. there are differant types of love. for a person, a child, pet, food, etc. you can love someone but not be in love with them. to really love a person, you must give yourself totally. when your apart, you miss each other and grow fonder. when together your eyes meet each time as if for the first time. your heart beats faster. you can't stand being apart from one another. you grow together, being there for one another through anything. you take that person as they are. a child you love with all your heart as its apart of you. you protect it, feed it, cherish the moments you have. teach the child to be better than you and to have a better life than you. giving them unconditional love, careing, advice letting them grow to become their own person. a pet is apart of your family. you care for it and feed it giving you unconditional love and a life of love in return for nothing. the pet becomes apart of you and your charactor.

love is inherent and it cannot be separated. love goes with any relationship. i believe it is like oxygen for a human body. (all the parts of a body are important, but without oxygen all are useless).
