Great summer projects can also be ways to increase your budget. Make a flier on your parent's computer, ($free!$) and drop it off in your neighbor's mailboxes, asking them if they need help with anything. (Planting new flowers, organizing photos, watering their plants, alphebetizing their CDs or DVDs,taking their dog for a walk, making table decorations for their 4th of July BBQ...whatever!) Decide how much $ you want to charge per hour. You'll get to do lots of different projects, so you won't get bored doing the same old thing over and over. Have fun!

I have no project ideas, but I know of an absolutely great site. http://community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/ has all kinds of cool ideas on it and is a very well monitored community of creative crafters They most often do projects that are made to cost very little and make creative use of substances and materials

A flower garden. You can buy dirt for 3 dollars and seeds for 99 cents a packet. Make your own box to put the dirt in or paint flower pots =) Colleus are my favorite house plants to grow from seeds because they are so colorful.

learn to crochet granny squares, then donate them to Michael's Craft store they take them and other people sew them together and make blankets for the homeless people. The wool can be any combination of colors, it doesn't matter. The squares are fun to do and once you get good at it, you can do it at the pool, listening to music, watching TV etc...
