I haven't seen them since 1999. Their mother dropped out of sight with them and I haven't had any contact with her since 2001. I have tried all sorts of searches for them and have stopped short of hiring a private investigator. The last thing I heard about them was that the mother: Melissa Darlene Call McLeese/Age 40/Birthdate 3/9/1965 was living in Wilkesboro North Carolina. The two children: Phillip Nathan McLeese/Birthdate: 1/18/1986 and Erica Lauren McLeese/Birthdate 4/21/1988 were still under her care at that time.

To update you on this situation - the mother wanted to drop out of sight after our divorce in 1995. My child support was ordered stopped by the state of NC thru my attorney due to my parental rights being denied by the mother. That was in 2001. I can't afford a P.I. at this time - and to answer your questions, yes my kids have always been worth it - but affording it is another matter due to extreme financial problems at this time. I appreciate everyone's well wishes and kind thoughts on the matter, but unless you have some concrete clues as to their whereabouts, please limit your answers.

I wouldn't want to be the one to get involved in something we no nothing about. How do we know why your wife took the kids and disappeared. I mean that usually couples when they decide to divorce or separate and they have children, they usually decide together the best interests of their children. Like visitation privileges etc.
Usually when one partner leaves with the children and hides, there is usually some problem involved.
I for one am glad that the responses you received so far are common-sensed ones. I believe that would be the best route to go.

sounds like they are 18 and 20 now. there are sites on the web that charge a small fee with a ssn, you can track them down. even under false names, unless they are using fake ssn, it makes it harder. if at the time in 2001 they lived in your state and she takes off out of state it is considered kidnapping. unless there is a court orcer forbidden you contact and you have a order of joint custodity or however the divorce is stated. no parent can legally take a child out of state to stop another parent from seeing them or being with them. it would come under fbi jurisdiction then once they cross a state line. good luck in finding them.

I think your best bet, even though it may be somewhat costly, is to hire a PI to assist you in locating your children. They are both of legal age now and I am sure they are interested in hearing from you. I really hope that you are able to get in contact with them. When you do please let us know.

you should be able to do a missing child search.... but if at all possible a priv. invest. is your best option..... they know all the tricks of the trade..... I do so hope there is not an ugly reason why they were taken from you..... not being ugly, but these days you just never know........ God bless

You know what........your kids are pretty much grown. If you are in the same place, they will find you, unless they don't want to. Why did you lose contact? I think there is much more to this one.

IF you love your kids much, and you feel like your rights have been denied, then you shouldn't worry if you spend every dime you have in finding them.
