Her name is Emma and I really like her and I've told her that I like her. Problem is, I'm really scared to ask her out. I'm heaps shy around her and I don't have a clue what she thinks of me. She drops hints all over the place but then goes off and flirts with another guy. What to do???

Dude, you've just got to do it. Don't even think about it. The first guy I ever asked out said no. But I still felt good just for doing it. It was a huge adrenaline rush and, of course, I was sad because he said no. But the rewards gave me confidence anyway, just for having the guts to do it. And it made other people (one of them being my current boyfriend) see me as a person who yearns for relationships with people just like everybody else. Before that I was the class clown and nobody saw me as the type of person who would like a guy, but now they do. And that's what I wanted. I'm so happy that I asked him. I would never regret it. I'm sure you won't either.

About that flirting, she's probably just a flirty girl. Some people just have that personality, but it doesn't really mean anything. And if she's dropping hints, you definitely have to make a move. Best of Luck!

Ok well if you think she's just playing with your mind (she just enjoys flirting with many guys) then maybe you should wait a while before doing anything. But if you think she really does like you (find out from a friend?) then you should ask her out! Sometimes it's better to just do something then to wait and later regret not making a move...

The way i see it is that she probably thinks that you are afraid and wants a guy that is very sure and would have no problem asking her out. The worst thing she can do is tell you no. Then if and I do mean if she says no, move on there are many others out there. Nothing beats failure than a try.

Why not? The worst that could happen is she says no.
