Placentarian mammals do (not the platypus or equidna)

Only animals that were attached to their mother via an umbilical cord. Not all mammals fit that description. The platypus and the spiny anteater are examples since they were hatched from eggs.

Well mammals have umbillical cords when they're born (if that's how you spell it) so I imagine they would have a mark of sorts, just not as obvious as ours.

only the mamals belly bottons show where are inbelical cords were. meaning animals born from eggs dont need them.
