1) Backup any data and/or files you want to save onto disc
2) Take your Operating System software (Windows/Linux) disc and insert it in your CD-Rom
3) Reboot
4) When you see "Press any key to boot from CD...", press a key - it will begin the reformat process.
5) When the blue screen comes up showing your partitioned space, delete and recreate it, then let it load the software up

You can:
1. Use Windows XP installation CD which is bootable to boot up your laptop by it. (boot by CD-ROM not by Hard Drive).
2. Follow the instructions and you would be able to format any partition you want or create/remove any partition.

If u format all the datas will be gone,,,,, U can format through CD provided by the vendor ..... Windows Restore CD or Factory default CD.....

go to my computer, right click on the disk, then click on format.

this will erase EVERYTHING
