you can love someone and not like them. loving them is so much deeper but what they say sometimes may change the way you feel about them at that point so then you may not like them, but you will still love them. Liking is in the head, loving is in the heart.

I think it is very possible, but eventually it ends up into a love-hate relationship and turns into a disaster, unless of course the involved persons change to match each other better.

Right now, I love my boyfriend, but I hate him as well.
This is because he does drugs. We have a child together & I want him to be a father figure, but he wasn't -- so I left.
I really loved him.. I still really do love him, but I also don't like him because he is making bad choices.
I love him, but because of his choice, I have to lose out on being with him. There for, I dislike him.
There is always love/hate relationships. Drugs being a very big factor to them.

no it's soooooo true i hate my ex boyfriend i don't liek him at all he used me and is a doushbag and we scream at each other but i love him with all my heart and I never want to see him get hurt even now that he is seeing someone else and we still fight just as much.

Sometimes we are just chill with each other though and can talk about anything (even though we can't relate and he plays every girl and uses me, but he is having alot of trouble with life), so it's like i don't like him but I will always love him

I love my family, but do not like most of them or the things that they stand for. So I believe it is definitely possible, and happens more often than we would like to believe.

Yes, you can love somebody and not like them too. I say that to my boyfriend when he does something wrong to me. I tell him that i love him but i don't like him at the moment. lol. Its true because you cant just stop loving somebody immediately but you can not like them all of a sudden.

Love in its truest sense is an act of the will.

Difficult to comprehrend and execute in reality, but over 3000 years ago, a man showed us exactly how--- Jesus Christ.

yes ,it happens because opposite attract us.what we think must not happen,It happens, because we think about it & make it fixed.
we many time like to be a giver as lover & destroying our emotional self we fall in trap of unwanted . we love to sacrifice ourself to love somebody on sympathy base.Sympathy to disabled or disturbed person to us self destruction. u can love
somebody but if u donot like that person then it is self torture.
u r not human being ur human doing.
Live life which u love
& love them which u like. But inthis world Mind , Soul & heart
very rarely live life of liking & love.
Circumstances ask us to love which we don,t like &
manytime we are totaly confused in loving & Liking.
But in life Plus Minus is name of Game.
Some time Joy Sometime sorrow

I think so. I don't think the to words are on the same plane. I think you can love someone, and care for them, and pray for them, etc for whatever reason (i.e. family member)... but despise there character and in that not liking them.
