you can go to the control panel and delete the previous web searches... can also click on tools on the internet explorer window then go to internet option, delete cookies ... it will delete the previous searches I guess

If you have the Google Tool Bar, Go to Options...Search...and uncheck the Save Search History ....selection. From that point it should be clear every time you shut down the browser. Some Privacy and Anti Spyware programs also allow you to clear MRU (most recently used) lists.

Go to tools, click on Internet Options, then click on the content tab,
click on the button autocomplete and then click on clear forms.
