The best gift I ever had was to have everyone I love and care for in my life with all of my heart and soul, and have them love me back just as much :)
The worst is to have a broken heart by knowing that someone I liked a lot actually cheated on me with someone else and then tried to make me think that I was the one who imagined the whole thing (that it never happened)... Thank God I have a wonderful man in my life now :)

My answer for best gift is gonna sound kind of silly and stupid... but this one time I was at this party, and it just so happened that I was able to talk to almost everyone there without leaving this one chair. So, after an hour or two of not moving, I decided that it would be interesting to see if I could stay in the same chair the whole time and manage to talk to everyone there. Well, eventually I started getting thirsty, but I didn't want to ruin the streak by getting up to get myself something to drink. I started asking friends and other people I knew if they wouldn't mind grabbing me something to drink. Everyone looked at me like I was lazy and stupid and basically told me to just do it myself. So, I offerred to pay whoever would grab me a beverage a buck, and that got even worse reactions. And then a girl I barely knew at all volunteered to get me whatever I wanted (and she didn't want the dollar). It was a small gesture, but I thought it was a really nice one. As time has gone by, I've come to appreciate what she did more because I have learned that most people are pretty selfish and care far more about themselves than they do others. And maybe that's okay, but not only did this girl grab me a bottle of water, we became pretty good friends for a while. So, that was the best gift I ever received... which means that sometimes the little things really DO go a long way. Or maybe the gift was so great because it was symbollic of what an awesome girl she was. Or, perhaps, the true gift was the friendship that resulted from the incident. Either way, that's my number one!

I have to admit that I haven't received a "best gift" ever, - - Yet - - Unless, of course, it was "having my children", who are the "best". And, I do remember the year I got a bicycle for Christmas (the same year that I discovered the true "meaning" of Christmas and who "Santa Clause" really is). However, that wasn't the "best gift ever". The worst gift had to be a large "used" bottle of very expensive, name brand perfume. Were they trying to "tell" me something? Whatever, I didn't use it I just threw it away, then took a shower.

A lot of good things, the worst would have to be a broken jewelry box.
