did you enter a lottery? probably not. its a scam to get your money. you should never have to pay money to "win" money.

All such e-mails are scams, known as "phishing" -- they attempt to get you to provide personal information and/or financial account numbers that are then used for fraud -- at your expense.
NEVER respond to such requests -- just delete them and move on.
There's an old saying where I come from... "If it sounds too good to be true (like winning a lottery when you didn't even buy a ticket), then it probably isn't...."
