It most definetely does as long as both of you are willing to "work" on it by being trusting, patient, understanding, honest, loving, and caring. Call each other as often as you can and communicate on the daily basis, getting to know each other's voices even on the distance as well as being able to be more tunned-in into each other's feelings and emotions. And, plus to that, visit each other from time to time so that way you can physically reunite and feel each other by being together. This way you'll be able to get to know each other on the more personal and deep emotional level, allowing you to be able to communicate in the ways that you've never gotten a chance to be. It is challenging, because you can't see each other for long periods of time, but the anticipation of the meeting and what it'll bring with you can actually make it easier to go through, and worth the wait and patience that you put into it :)

My Husband and I met online: He's from Wisconsin and I'm from California :) We've been talking to each other on the phone, e-mailing, and visiting each other as often as we could. Just hearing each other's voices we are able to sense and hear that note in the voice that tells if one of us is upset, happy, distracted or hurt. The unticipation of seeing one another again always sweetens that moment when we do get together again :) We've been together for couple of years now and counting. It's amaizing to find someone completely new, wonderful and amaizing, who loves you for you and never wants to let you go, because you mean that much to them.

Best of luck to you :) If you're in online relationship, I hope with all my heart that it'll work out perfectly for you. Feel confident about your relationship, love, support and trust each other, and be honest with one another. And don't worry, everything will be alright... You just wait and see for yourself :)

lots of phone sex and m-bating. Otherwise, not too well. I think it is different for women who are staying loyal to their soldiers who are serving overseas right now.
