Why do you need to do it anonymously? Was this your marriage? If so you have every right to get a copy of your marriage certificate. You will probably need to go the the county registrar of the county where the wedding license was signed.

Depends on the state. Easiest and fastest is to go to the website run by your state's government. That should inform you how one obtains a copy of a marriage certificate, whether there are restrictions on who can obtain a copy. From this information you should be able to figure out how to get a copy anonymously.

Red- I gave you a thumbs-up. As to the question at hand, I think it's pretty obvious by now that all of these answers you have here would probably lead to something in the neighborhood of divorce (92%) or a passport issue (7%). The real question I must ask is why would you not want to send him the copy of the document? You seem happy ("I have split from my husband 6 months ago :)") to be split from him, so just wondering why you would want to delay the game even further by withholding the play. Many you're welcomes.
