Doctor tells her that her hormone levels are "too high" to get pregnant. She didn't have a menstruation for 8 months and then suddenly had a heavy flow. She is overweight, diabetic, hypertensive. She is willing to try InVitro if pregnancy is possible. What should she do to increase her chances of getting pregnant?

If she is in menopause or premenopause, her hormones would be too low, not too high. And the accepted time for loss of fertility for menopausal women is 1-1 1/2 years of no menses. Yes, you can still become pregnant during this time. The system is just slowing down and may not be ovulating as much.

I think that losing weight would be her first step, because then she would be healthier and it may bring down her BP. Eat whole grains, frutis and veggies; get lots of exercise; drink a lot of water. Going in to a pregnancy healthy is a very smart idea, for the baby, the mom, and the labor. Also, taking pre-natal vitamins before even starting the process of trying to conceive is recommended.

If she is menopausal, she may be too old to consider pregnancy. Yes, she still can be fertil, but after 35 your risks during pregnancy increase significantly. She will have a much higher risk ofher baby having down syndrome and other birth defects...aslo miscarriage. I am not sure of the age limit on IVF, but seeing as how she is going thru menopuase, and her doctor told her it wasnt safe for her to get pregnant b/c of her health, she may have a hard time getting approved for one.

First of all, she really needs to think about if this is the right thing for her to do (get pregnant) given her medical history. It also is a huge factor of what her age is if she is in menopause because the older you are the higher the chances of having a problem with the baby. She really needs to seek advice of her physician before becoming pregnant. There is alot to consider.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a

First off her doctor isnt going to recommend her getting pg because of her blood pressure and diabetes very life threating things have occured with people who had just one or the other of these problems and she wants to get pg with having both of these probs. Not smart shes going to risk not one but two lives. Sorry to be negative but I have had nine pregnancies and only one child. What Im saying is a fact.
