Yes it is..You really get to know your spouse..what their feelings are toward marriage, having kids and respecting each other.. We went for a weekend and it was really alot of fun.You meet alot of of other couples also..

Not necessary persay but well worth it if you do.... I think it better equips and readies you for marriage and for what you are getting into. It makes you think and know whether you really want to do this or not. I personally feel it is important but some people don't. I feel that parents go to parenting classes to learn how to be better parents so why as husband and wives or engaged couples why can't we go to a marriage class to be better spouses. Just makes sense to me.
