It will make a sound, stand by a tree that's about to fall or take a tape recorder to the forest where you know a tree is about to fall and leave the recorder there by the tree, periodically check on the recorder and tree......

I'm sorry...Let me get finished laughing. Do you hear when people fall? Think about a tree. Just because it's in a forest surroung by other trees doesn't mean that it wouldn't make a sound. What if it hits a monkey?

Sound is vibrations that we hear. If a tree falls in a forrest, there is no sound unless someone is there to hear the vibrations that the tree makes when it hits the ground.

If you are talking, and only a deaf person is around, are you still talking? Yes! Get over it already. There is air for it to fall through, ground to cause an impact, and objects that break and snap (limbs). Sound is present even if there is no ear to hear it.

it makes the agonizing scream of a living object having it's life ended. unless of course, it was already dead, in which case it just sounds like a falling tree.

If it doesn't make a sound when no one's there to hear it, how can it fall when no one's there to see it? Therefore, it must make a sound, if indeed it fall.
