I ask myself the same question. There is absolutely ZERO grammar on this website.
However, I work as a tech service representitive, so I am used to stupid people asking me very stupid questions.
I usually stick to the computer section and answer away.
I would appreciate if you would vote this as the best answer so I can post more answers a day!

12-year-old children can be pretty intelligent; the problem is that they are ignorant (as they are young) and brainwashed by their environments (as they have had little time for introspection). Anyway the smarter people either have better things to do as a general rule, or have work. If "smarter people" signifies "older people" then the latter explanation is probably the case.

I can't honestly answer that. I do consider myself in the know for some things, and I am older than 12.

Just because I'm a teen doesn't mean I'm not smart. I know a lot about computers and have many best answers.
I also use proper grammer and spelling.
