What is involved is Money... and LOTS And LOTS of it!

You need to be able to afford to pay the people who you will contract. Other than that, if you have a basic knowledge of homebuilding you can start hiring people as soon as you acquire your business licence. If you do not have a knowledge of home building, you may need to first hire a general contractor.

Go to the building and zoning of your town and start the process. It could be one step(residential builder) you might regret considering the aggravation, time, money spent and frustration you will encounter. Good luck.
