Any pre-paid calling card should work as long as your not dialing an international toll-free line (like our 1-800 numbers here). Try and grab a local calling card for your area so you possibly get more minutes for your buck. If your not able to do so, get an AT&T phone card.

This is going to sound totally off the wall but I promise it will solve your problem; go to your nearest hispanic grocery and get one of their $5 or $10 phone cards, if possible ask the cashier which is the most popular and get it. My husband uses them to call his family all the time and with the $5 one he can talk for 55 minutes.
It's worth a try!!

You can get different prepaid calling cards. I get them for my daughter to call India. The card is $5 and there is aproximently 35 minutes on it. There are several different kinds for different parts of the world. The kind I buy are called **love** or *explore africa*
I get these cards at a small store run by a man from India

Have you tried using Yahoo! Messenger or Skype? Both do calls through the internet for a small per minute charge. Of course, you'll need a microphone/headset that you can hook up to your computer.

Try using a calling card, if there's one in your country. Other than that, I dont know of any other than telepathic calls. Ok, just kidding.
Hope this helps.

Take care.
