I highly recommend Strixaderm MD, you can get it at Vitamin World or Nutrition Warehouse. It's more effective than cocoa butter or anything else I've tried. It's faded my stretch marks considerably and even faded my c section scar and I'm currently using it on a biopsy site. If you have dark circles under your eyes, it helps with that too.
It is a little expensive, but a little goes a long way and it's cheaper than comparable lotions at the department stores. I pay about $45 a bottle for it, but it lasts a long time.

there is no way to really get rid of stretch marks but rubbing vitamin e oil every day on NEW RED Ones will make them less noticable...but keep applying lotion to the old ones and there are tanning beds that help them look less noticeable too!! have a great summer!

There certainly are ways.
First option, get laser surgery, which of course wouldn't get rid of it completely, just whiten it to make it near invisible.
Pro: Near Invisible
Con: Makes your wallet much lighter.
Second option, buy cocoa butter at your local drug store and apply for a couple of months.
Pros: Same result as laser surgery, fraction of the cost.
Con: Allergic reaction towards Cocoa.
Of course, there are no guarantees that treatment will always work. I won't go into detail because that's as simple and as realistic as I could put it for you.
Hope this helps.

There are creams in the lotion isle that are for stretch marks, usually it has a pregnant woman on them, but they work for any type. Also, Mederma works, but is more expensive for a small tube.

I've seen lotions and creams advertised, and vitamin E works on healing scars... so that could work. I don't know if they work or not, but I'd say it's worth a try! Good Luck!

Strivectin is the only effective treatment I've heard about. A dermatologist may have other solutions.
