alright, so that's 5'8", 220 lbs.? Well, I think your wardrobe all depends on your style, as well as your budget. I know some specialty stores like Big & Tall and Nordstrom's have larger sizes, but those can get expensive. I like finding bargains at outlet malls, personally.
Although black is flattering for just about everybody (since it's slimming), I might consider choosing a different "signature" color, like one of the many shades of blue. For a guy, I don't see what's wrong with wearing jeans (not too baggy, not too tight) and a t-shirt. For some reason, I'm imagining the Ecko brand.
I think the shoes make the man. I don't know what your style is or what model number the nikes are, but...for some reason, I'm imagining work boots (those Timberland camel-colored ones).
Hope this helps somewhat. It's hard without knowing more of your personal style, like/dislikes, etc.

Find your own style, if you really struggle with colours and such, go into a store that has stuff that you like. Ask a sales associate to help you choose an outfit. Pick a starter piece, like a shirt, and they can help pick the rest.
You can also check out the website below which lets you create a virtual model and try on different outfits before you buy them. They have guys's stuff, I'm not sure what sizes though. I know they have plus size models for girls, you'll have to check it out for the guys though. Check it out and see what stuff would look good on you.

Wear what you feel comfortable in.
Next thing you gonna want us to tell you how to cut your hair,
how to talk how to walk how to behave how to laugh how to work how to have a face life and liposuction and all for what?!
If you don't feel like you fit in or cannot determine your own style then that was definitly the WRONG question you asked.
Rather ask for instance, " How do I get myself some Huggy Bear Pimpin Style?"
I think you would have a better response that you can use for the long term.
This S&%T of asking "WHAT MUST I WEAR ACCORDING TO EVERYONE ELSE'S OPINION" has to go buddy.
It's so 80's
aarrggghhh!!!!
