Use the same one you always use but
Also use a hardner polish to go on top.

Check the ratings given to current brands in Paula Begoun's series of books "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me". She compares prices, brands, and formulas of all the popular brands. She also reveals that expensive brands like Lancome have sister companies like Loreal with almost identical products. If you can afford it, research Lancome and buy what you need from them. If not, try Loreal.

I personally like Revlon. They have a lot of those really pearly colors, and it usually takes a least a week to see some major chippage. They have long-lasting polish you can buy as well.

the ones that are advertised to not chip are like 3 times as much as expensive as regular nailpolish and so I haven't even bothered to try them. I figured I would rather just buy regular polish and then just refresh it everyday after I shower.

My favorite is the one with the diamond on the front. I can't remember the name. Go to Walmart and look for the diamond. Wears very well and does not chip. It also is very glossy and does not require a top coat.
