i'm a girl. we've been classmates for a just a year in highschool. he's very nice. he's cute and a gentleman. 3 years ago he and his family moved to Australia to live there. from then on, i can't get him out of my mind. sometimes i'll find myself writing his name beside mine. even in the books that i read, i often find one character as if it's him. in the streets i often mistake people who resembles him. i keep his pic on my wallet and can't bear to have it lost. i make poems easily if about him, if not, i can't. we write and text ocassionally and whenever i receive one i feel like im the happiest person in the world. of all our friends and classmates, only i have the connection with him. now i'm in college. after graduating, i feel like i want to study or work in Australia so I can be closer to him. Can you tell me what am I feeling?

It's easy to feel loss when a friend moves away or when you feel like you've missed an opportunity... ask yourself this- does he feel the same desperation to contact you or see you, and if not evalute how intelligent it would be to set your future around somebody who is not willing to do the same for you. And if thats not the case and he feels like he needs you as much as you feel like you need him, it's quite possibly the begins of love... isn't it great.... feel him out, ask questions of him about his feelings and how he feels about you coming to australia to work after graduating.

It may be easier for you to romanticize about a relationship that you already know can only go so far. Knowing this, you have room to make it this perfect, awesome thing in your mind.

Having said that, you are in contact with him somewhat and it does, by your own account, energize you. That is always a healthy sign of a positive, supportive relationship, and is not always prevelant in people's lives.

However, moving to Australia just to be close to this person is probably not in your best interest, unless your communication now grows to a point where you mutually agree that you'd both like to explore how far this relationship can take you. Until that happens (IF that happens), just cherish what you have.

Dear,
What you are feeling is a natural reaction to meeting or finding someone that you connect with. Sure, the is a great thing concern your thoughts and feelings but to have a true connection you need to verify his feelings towards you. If they are mutual then you have something very special. There is not alot of people that you will meet that you'll find that type of connection. It is like locating a diamond in a pale of dirt. Good Luck

Youre in fantasy land. But that can be good if he feels the same. However, moving over there could put a lot of responsibility on him, so that might kill the romance.
