YOU are correct..bush...like his father, is a war-monger! Bush thinks he is above the law, he has forgotten that it was american citizens (59 million jackasses that is) who put him there...oh, wait a minute....Jeb Bush helped put him there...that's right! Anyway...Bush has no conscience, no idea what a front line is like...the horrorr of war, the physical and psychological consequences our soldiers will have to endure long after leaving IRAQ...IT's all about MONEY!!!!!!!!!! (OIL=Money). Therefore American lives are not important...they weren't important to him in New Orleans, and they are not important to him in IRAQ!

I had to laugh when I saw someone being an *** in answering this question and then spells "stupid" wrong. It drips with irony.

Quick answer: We elected him

Long answer: True government was set in place, for a democracy, to be representative of a country's beliefs. The true reason for a Republic (what we are) is to have someone elected that will represent the beliefs of the many, so that you won't have to have millions of citizens arguing over ideas. This group here says this guy thinks like we do, this group there says this guy thinks like we do, and we send them to think for us.

However, this has morphed into having only a small majority elect the person who believes he can direct traffic based on his own thoughts without direction from his electors. This is not 100% directed at the current leaders, but a trend over the last 50 years. Instead of the people being the puppet masters (as what was really intended), the leaders now believe that the people that elect them are too stupid to decide for themselves, so they can do as they please. However, we do little to defend ourselves when American Idol can get people to vote and electing the most powerful position in the world doesn't. Next time you stop to buy People magazine or talk about how Brad and Angelina are having a baby, stop and direct your energy to learning politics and what is going on. Your vote could change history.

I don't think that Bush accepts anything. That is one issue. But aside that, I don't think that Bush is to blame for the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people in Iran.

The Ayatollah, the Shah, Mosedeque and a whole lot of Iranian mullahs and sheiks were corrupt and violent toward the Iranian people. And what the Shah and the Ayatollah did to the Bahia people was nothing sort of genocide. I don't think Bush had anything to do with that.

Too bad if Bush doesn't like the elected leader in Palestine. The people voted and they got who the most of them voted for. One man, one vote and whoever they pick is all right by the U.S.

I don't think President Bush will be around for doing it again in Iran or North Korea. He has enough on his plate in Iraq. But I can tell you, if you want to pick a fight over this issue here and now, with American forces in Iraq, it would be really strategically and logistically bad timing.

I don't think President Bush gets it. But he isn't the constable, and his actions have not caused the deaths of tens of thousands of Iranians.

To make matters worse, he is still the President of the United States and arm to arm, we can still kick North Korea's butt and Iran's butt anytime. He is still my President and I am still a citizen of this country so you can stick it up your Torah.

Well, ah, maybe all the M-F senators and congressman who voted to authorize his use of force in Iraq.

The bigger question is why do the sheep keep voting for these lames who support the "war" in Iraq.

The sheep here in San Diego on June 6 voted to replaced a Republican congressman, Cunningham, who is federal prison for taking bribes, with, you guessed it, another career politician.

so the answer to your question....

The voting public appointed the US world policeman and Bush the chief constable.

Corporate media that has dumbed down America...

America needs to enrich the corporations that finance its politicians (which means more money from tax payers to arms companies)

America has been attacking the world for 60 years before 9/11 (Iran, Iraq, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Chile, etc etc.)

it truly is not a question of feeling sorry for all of us good now, the yank people voted him in, no longer as quickly as yet two times, permit me superb myself the Republicans voted him in no longer as quickly as yet two times !!! assisting them out of their mess now could be no longer for Bush, no longer something he can do will keep his face, and with a bit of luck the Republican party for an prolonged long term. yet ... the folk should not be made to go through, their leaders made the incorrect alternatives and royally screwed up. What i won't be able to appreciate is that all of us could choose yet another conflict-monger President to run the country. At this factor does all of us comprehend that the conflict in Iraq replace right into a private conflict for the entire Bush family contributors, it replace into revenge for G.Bush senior, re; his previous political kinfolk with Saddam H. the concentration ought to have been on AL-QAIDA in user-friendly terms !!! Wow, what a multitude, and now if McCain and his moronic vice president, get voted in in user-friendly terms some religious intervention will help the united statesA. do no longer watch for that to ensue so do some thing effective, and get the Republicans the hell out of capacity !!!

At the core I agree with you argument but, Bush hasn't killed anyone in Iran yet. Also how did his definition of democracy change from the events in Palestine?

can c u,
What has lead you incorrectly to believe that shooting down the missile is a major concern. Please, no one feels threatened here. It's called being careful and observant.

Norman,
Think you are confusing Iraq and Iran. Also, the INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY has spoken out against Hamas and stopped funds from flowing in. You are "fishing" for a good argument, but so far haven't caught anything.

Bush is an idiot. Make no mistake about that. But if you asked who appointed him world police --well Americans did. They appointed him sheriff when they elected him and then they gave this mildly retarded sheriff the most powerful army in the history of the world. Then congress voted for him to be world police, when they decided to fund all of his wars.(no offense meant toward the down's syndrome kids)----so to answer your question...well we appointed him.
