when i was pregnant with my oldest i went to the doc and told him i was pregnant and they did a blood test and the doc said the test was negative and i when i whet back7 weeks later i was 12 weeks pregnant and with my youngest i had the Hcg test and it was low so the doc had me come back once a week for a month and the first 3 weeks the hcg levels dropped like i was having a miscarriage but the 4th week the hcg levels were back up so yes you can but it is very weird for this to happen only 1 in about 10,000 from what the doc said.so if you think your pregnant just give it time and see what happens.

You cant be pregnant without the hcg levels. However you can be pregnant and the hcg be not detectable. Some women have to resort to blood testing because their hcg levels arent detectable in their urine.

You can have a very low level & be pregnant. My best friend lost 2 babies because of a low HCG level, so on 3rd pregnancy the Doc gave her hormone shots till she was 6 months along.
I wish you the best!

they determine pregnancy by your HCG levels honey, anything above 8 is deemed pregnant. If it's below 8 then you are most certainly not pregnant. It's tough to accept if you've waited so long and have had IVF or whatever but I'm sorry, it's true.
take care

No, HCG is the chemical produced while pregnant, and only then. If it is not sustained at a certain level, it can result in miscarriage. It is a common cause for barren and miscarriage cases.

NO, that is the hormone that is produced from being pregnat! It only gets higher the further along you are and if it starts to drop then that means that things have gone bad and the pregnancy is well..... in danger or either no longer so to speak! I had a tough pregnancy and that is how i know that was explained to me in very deep detail and every time you have a doctor visit that is one of the things that they check in your urin to make sure that they are still raising and that things are going as planed!
