I have played trumpet for 12 years now, and I have never seen a fugly woman trumpet player. It is all about the image. Brass are very masculine instruments and the brightest and loudest of them all is the trumpet. Playing the trumpet symbolizes power and coolness. One of my friends says: "Trumpets is sexual organ of band, without it there is no point of listening to the music."

I'm a trumpet player. Been on and off for the last year, but I'm picking it up again, and if you count last year, this will be my 8th year playing trumpet. I love it.

I think it's hot for a woman to not care if something looks hot or not and just do it. I played it in HS and find nothing unsexy about it.
