Normally yes. My wife is pregnant with our first child and despite the fact that she is a nurse, she insisted on asking the doctor. The doctor told us, in no uncertain terms, that in no way can sex hurt a healthy pregnancy. If she is having any complications or is a high risk pregnancy then you should check with your doctor first.

According to my wife, who carried twins recently, doctors told her that theoretically you can have sex throughout the pregnancy -- but there are some significant caveats:
1. In the last four weeks or so of the pregnancy, semen can act as a natural labor inducer -- in short, having sex late in the pregnancy can trigger early labor;
2. Just because your wife *can* have sex doesn't mean she'll want to; being pregnant can make a woman feel unattractive and undesirable. It can (usually is) an experience laden with discomfort, pain and difficulty moving around. In other words, do everything you can to make her feel attractive, but don't make her do something she doesn't want to do;
3. Sex is fine, but rough sex is not; your child is along for the ride, and you don't want to do anything to hurt him/her. You don't have to treat your wife's belly like an egg, but don't go for the rough stuff, either -- and for goodness' sake, let your wife tell you what's too rough and what isn't, not the other way around.
Have fun!

Yes, it is safe to have sex with your wife while she is pregnant. It may vary, but usually up until the 8th month, or the quarter point of her third trimester, you should be fairly safe.
As your wife's pregnancy progresses, I recommend that you have sex in *****-style position. This will decrease the pressure put forth on the womb, and is the safest position to not bring any harm to the developing fetus.
The best part about this kind of sex is that any sex is safe sex! ;)
Hope this helps.

Yes you can until the doctor says its time to stop. A lot of men think pregnant women are the sexiest. Love her up she will enjoy it even more as she goes through the time when she is feeling bad that she is getting so big. It's not like you can get her pregnant again. LOL :) And you know what? Buy her some flowers! She's earned it. :) Congrats on being a new dad!

Yes you can as long as there are no complications, check with your Dr if you want medical confirmation. As far as AMERICANDREAM1's response,it being a dumb question don;t pay any attention to that. For all they know this could be your first baby and you are nervous. I was with my first. And there are other ways to have fun with your wife without having actual intercourse. Good luck with your baby to be.

I had sex with my wife until she was 9 months pregnant. The orgasms was making her have contraction, from what I was told, so the doctors advised us repeatedly to stop. But it was sooooooo good. So hell yeah, keep on coming

As Tom Petty said, oh my my, oh hell yes. I did it right up until she delivered. Rear entry is the only thing that works after a while ... from the side, or spoons, is best. No complaints and she sure did get off on it.

No doubt! Towards the end the progesterone in your semen will also soften the walls of her cervix encouraging labor, believe me, she'll appreciate it. Don't forget to be sensitive to her other need as well right now. Lots of non-sexual touching is very soothing while you are pregnant.

Yes. If she is late in the gestation period, though (greater than 6 months), I would take care in how you two copulate. Too rough or too much pressure would be detrimental to the baby.
