Most of you youngsters probably never heard of The Captain and Tenile but they had this song back in the 70s called "Muskrat Love" and it was the worst piece of $#!T ever recorded... I could feel my I.Q. dropping every time it was played. Thanks for dredging up the painful memory.

The most annoying song ever:

LFO's Girl on TV - any song with lyrics like:

"Shoobie doowop and Scoobie Snacks
Met a fly girl and I can't relax"

should take home 1st prize for being annoying.

MacArthur Park- sung by the actor Richard Harris. Worse piece of dog doo ever to splat on the charts. DON'T bother listening to it, if you haven't heard it - you'll be sorry! It was voted the WORST song ever by readers of Dave Barry's column.

For me it's a tie between "You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Boone and "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen.

Both of those songs make me want to grab whatever radio or CD player is being violated and smash it into pieces!
