Any motherboard running an Intel 915 chipset or better. There are some Intel 865 boards back on the market but they are not as good as the 915, 925, 945, 955 and 975 chipsets.

Motherboards in the budget region of hte market will work as well but they will affect your performance negativly, yes i am refering to boards using the VIA and SIS chipsets (they are okay for celeron D but will also negativly affect the performance of teh already bottle necked celeron D).

If you need some thing on the cheap side for an intel pentium 4 or Celeron D then go for an Intel Grand county motherboard with an ATI xPress 200 chipset.

I hope that you meant to say a Pentium 4! That would mean that you would need a socket 775 mobo. If you meant to say a Celeron D you'll need the same socket style for it. Check these out.
