Only when "The Prince Of Peace" returns. There has never been "peace" on the earth. In all human history there has always been discord. You can't have "peace" without God! Humans have been trying that since the beginning to no avail.

Funny that one of the answers is always someone quoting a bible verse. I am sure that if you asked that question to anyone of any religion, they would quote from their book to show you that their religion knows the right way. We all say the same thing, but we just don't practice it. I don't believe I have ever read, "Kill anyone who opposes your belief" in any religion's book, but yet just about everyone seems to think it is in their somewhere. With that in mind, we will be the lighthouse for our own ship of distruction. Sad as that may be, it is who and what we are. We are smart enough to create our own world, but basic enough to be the ones who end it.
