You go to the department of licensing and request a new one. It will cost a little bit, but not as much as a new one in most states.

You do not renew it, You report it lost and get what is known as a duplicate. The status code the CSR places on your record allows you to move into the future without too much worry. Your Police department is on the same data base, and if someone tries to use your lost ID for some dark purpose, then it will show that it is not the current license. Works much like a lost or stolen credit card.

Go to the DMV as soon as you can and tell them you lost--misplaced--your driver's license. It's not a renewal license, it's a replacement. You might consider putting an ID alert on your license, especially if your driver's license has your Social Security number on it, in case someone else tries to use your ID. Not only could they potentially commit identity theft, which is bad enough, but if they memorize your info., & give it to a police officer on a traffic stop, you could end up with tickets and/or warrants on your record. That creates all kinds of problems you don't want to have. Take care of this as soon as you possibly can to avoid any problems.

If an honest person finds it, you may get a call from them, or the old card may come in the mail one day. Maybe it's somewhere around your house. You may never really know what happened to it. If possible, do not put your Social Security number on your next license, because that will only help identity thieves when things like this happen. Maybe you should keep an eye on your credit report at least until the old one turns up. Good luck!

go to the nearest DPS office
tell the person there that you lost your licence
pay like $10 or so, i'm not really sure, they will make you another one and give you a temporary licence, wait for a week or so and voila! your new driver's licence

Go to your states' DMV website and look up duplicate driver's license. All you need to do mostly is to fill out your info., pay for the duplication, and then print it out without having to go to the actual DMV

are not getting caught using and not utilizing a license! in case you're no longer any further living in Michigan, then your Michigan license isn't valid besides. circulate to the closest Tennessee DMV place of work and ask your questions there.

Call the DMV, they will get you a replacement. And don't get pulled over in the meantime.
