i just got it peirced, and i didnt lok to see which way the peircer was screqing it on....its a 14g steel barbell, with pink rhinestones on each ball

That depends upon which side of the piercing the bead with the threads has been placed on. Generally, it is placed on the bottom of the hole, so that if the ball falls off the piercing has a better chance of remaining in the hole.

Turning the ball counter clockwise takes it off of the post, turning it clockwise tightens it.

Most of them unscrew from the top.

But some of the acrylic ones unscrew from both sides.

If the belly button ring is a bar then most likely it is the top.

If the belly button ring is a loop then from the center where the ball is.

It depends on which way you put it in. However, I tend to unscrew from the bottom...

don't know much about the belly but i had a tongue ring and i would unscrew it to the left
