I have a regular menstrual cycle. My last two consecutive menstruation was last May 2 and June 1. I had a contact with my partner last June 17 & 18, which I believe was my fertile period. What’s the tendency of getting pregnant if both of us are capable of producing an offspring? By the way, Im 28 y/o and he is 25 y/o.

30-35% chance of becoming pregnant. First, you have to ovulate at the right time. Then you have to have intercourse at the right time and the sperm have to find their way to the correct fallopian tube which has the ovulating ovary at the end. The sperm are fighting pH and all kinds of other "killer" stuff in your vagina, cervix, and uterus. Half of them die for the "good" of the others and it's a rough time. Finally, they have to break through the egg's defenses. So, if everything was perfectly timed, then you could be pregnant. It's almost like a game of chance.

Good luck!

For a normal woman, usually around day 14 is when you ovulate. Day one is the first day of your period.
