It was a local version of Ted Macks' Amateur hour, but Spokane was the broadcasting hub then for most of the pacific northwest.

Yes , I remember it well, starred Robert Vaughn as Napoleon Solo, Agent # 11 and David McCallum as Illya Kuryakin, Agent #2. Came on NBC on Monday nights at 8 PM United Network Command for Law Enforcement and Techological Hierarchy for Removal of Undesirables & Subjugation of Humanity. I also read all the paperback novels and even watched when "Girl from UNCLE" aired with Noel Harrison and Stephanie Powers. This was one of my favorite shows in the mid 1960s. Oh I almost forgot, their phone # was Plaza6-9049, I remember this because my sister tried to call UNCLE and report me for being Pro-Thrush.

Absolutely! The theme song wanders through my mind often still - after all these years. Clary Wright was the host. I attended school with two of his children, Dan and Dennis. These boys are twins, but not identical. Dan and Denny have attended University High School reunions in the recent past. Dan and Dennis were very talented themselves. I remember a North Pines Junior High talent show where Dan (the smaller) sat on Denny s lap when they performed a puppet skit. Hilarious!

I remember it as a child. I was born in 1957 and Grandparents watched it. Believe it was sponsered by the Boyle Fuel Co. their jingle to make you remember their phone # was repeating, "When you need coal or oil, call Boyle Fairfax 81521, Fairfax 81521
