Yes it is possible. if you overclock the pc and you are having problems getting it started but you hear no beeps it indicates that there is a problem with the CPU or the motherboard or both (assuming hte internal speaker is working). One beep means that that the Power On Self Test run by your motherboards completed with out finding a problem with the required components.
Check your motherboard manual for instruction on how to clear your CMOS settings (assuming you used the bios to overclock) otherwise just return the FSB jumpers you set to the right position. If the CPU or board isn't damaged it should startup fine and you should hear a beep from the internal speaker (assuming it was always working before your overclocked).
NB: some motherboards don't use internal speakers, they beep through the speakers connected to your onboard soundcard. If you disabled the onboard sound or your speakers are off/unplugged you might hear no beeps

Overclocked, no longer overlocked. you're operating it at a clock % speedier than it really is rated for. All digital computers are managed by ability of a significant clock pulse that keeps all of it organised. Overclocking can overheat the processor and ruin it. imagine redlining your automobile engine for a bypass-usa stress. some processors are underrated, ie, they may well be ok at a better % although the decision for replaced into for a decrease % so that they stamped that score on the kit. yet there isn't any straight forward thanks to understand once you've a Ferrari engine in that Honda body.

Mmm you mean the internal speaker? Not likely, unless you blew up the speaker somehow. I don't believe speeding up the internal clock will do it
