People have mentioned that I've been blunt before and I changed that out of respect for others. Of course there are people I can't help but get smart with. I'm conflicted with this issue because I came from a culture in which it's the norm to be blunt but in America it's not that way. Americans are sensitive it seems. Do people find you blunt or rude? Do you want to change that or does it work for you?

Don't change for anyone first off. Not even if you feel like it is what they would want. No need to be conflicted. You know the difference between right and wrong. You also know the difference when the bluntness turns to rude. It doesn't have to mean that being blunt = rude.

Blunt is a good quality--ESPECIALLY in today's "American" society...

wish I could say I was blunt.

Yes. I am blunt, to the point, brutally honest, what ever you want to call it.

If you don't want to hear the answer don't ask the question.

Being politically correct is for politicians not people.

You have a hang up to bad, "Get Over It,"

"life goes on with or with out you, so just sit there or you can be a part of it."

Quit sniviling, it's time to grow up!

You don't need a psychiatrist you need a good kick in the @ss to get your head out of it...

I don't play that poor me game, you got a problem then get a solution. Don't wait for someone else to take care of it for you.

People call me blunt...I call it honest. And I refuse to change it for anyone.
I feel like if I have to change what I say or how I say things for someone else, then I'm not being completely honest with myself or that person.
People say I'm rude, but I don't care because you can always come to me for the truth whether you want to hear it or not.
I say screw everyone else. I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear or make it nicer so you feel better about what I have to say. I'm going to be honest with you because that's just who I am.

People say that I am blunt. My philosophy is "Say what you mean, and Mean what you say!" I speak my mind, and sometimes I hurt peoples feelings. Other times my comments weren't what people wanted to hear. They are looking for a sugar coated response, and that's not my style.

No.
I really wish that I was sometimes, but, my personality will not allow me to hurt someone. And that is a bad thing sometimes, because I tend to just run from people once I have had enough. I will never speak to them again, and it sometimes is my own fault for allowing them to do me that way for so long. A trait i wish i could change.
