I have all the episodes of the original Star Trek television show on DVD. I was curious about what this collection would be worth? Does anyone have any idea?

I checked on Ebay but that didn't give me a 'worth'..only what people were willing to bid. Thanks.

Perhaps I should explain that I have no intention of selling the things. This question is to settle a discussion between myself and a friend. He was quite envious when he saw I had them and asked what I would take for them.. thus the discussion of worth.

Just retail price... DVD's aren't really a commodity these days, no matter what the show..

Unfortunately, anything you are trying to sell is ONLY worth what people are willing to pay, regardless of any value you might find for the item. Selling on eBay will guarantee a chance at a high traffic count of potential customers, so if you are trying to sell these, I would suggest there.

I tend to agree with the first guy. All of the trekkies probably already own their own collection by now. You could sell it on ebay with a reserve price on it.... basically you can start out the price low, and if the bidding doesn't reach your reserve price (what you're willing to sell it for) then you don't have to sell it.
