I wont put my real age, name, or any personal info on my myspace but is it ok if I make that stuff up??????
How do I set my site on private so only my friends can c it?

I just heard on the news that myspace may be shut down. It may not matter anyway.

sure its ok if you put fake info on myspace, but it just makes it a lot harder for your friends to find you.
there are 2 ways of making your site private only for your friends to see:
1) make your age under 15 and it will automatically make it private
2) you can go under settings and make your profile private

Well Tom has a good news for private lovers:
"we now have a private profile option for everyone. from your home page, click 'account settings' and from there click 'privacy settings'. you'll see an option to make your profile viewable to 'friends only' or to the 'public' .. (haha smiley)"
You will not change to 14 or 15 anymore. It's now your real age and privacy. Thanks tom!

I have a myspace too and this is how you make yer profile private.
1. make your age 14 or 15.
2. click on account settings.
3. click on privacy settings.
4. click on my friends only

Go ahead, make stuff up. who cares? GO to account settings on your home page. Then click on "Change Settings" next to "Privacy Settings" and click on the circle next to "My Friends Only" under "Who Can View My Profile".

If you set your age to 14 your profile will become private to those not subscribed to you

I think if you set your age to under 18 it will be private.

I agree with Mona. I think that website should close down. It's a major problem waiting to happen. If you are concern, why even bother getting in to it? Just be careful in the mean time; you just never know what may happen. Just call your friends, instead.

The age is 16 before it can be public.
On your home page beside your pic. Click account settings and it will be privicy settings.
There you can make it public.

if you say that your 14 or under, it will make it a private page. you actually don't have to put all of your info on there, just do this stuff instead ------ make those or any other semble where you don't want your info, just so that something is there.
