Which could you go a week without? Running water OR electricity?
I could go a week without running water, I live in the country and I could buy bottled water and haul water to bathe in and pour in the tank of the toilet; I could not do with out Electricity. It is hot in Texas and Me and Gramps gotta have Air conditioning.

electricity and water i will just go to a hotel for a week like i did when we had a big ice storm and i didn't have electric for a week

I would do better without electricity. I already proved that when my town got hit by hurricanes. I kind of like being relatively clean, so the thought of not taking a shower for a week is nasty.

Fla=Hurricanes We have had to do with both for TEN days!Before the next storm hit we bought a whole house generator! Live in the forest so have a well & a pump in the septic so now we do not do without!
