If I were going to start a WRASSLIN company I would take hardly anyone from the WWE since WWE is not Wrasslin. WWE is Sports Entertainment. Wrasslin is a name for the Southern style of Wrestling that flourished during the old territory system. Wrasslin focused on technical matches, lots of stiff brawling and lots of blood, so that basically disqualifies just about everyone on the WWE roster. Ric Flair obviously even though he is beyond his prime, Chris Benoit(although he doesn't cut promo's ideally for wrasslin), Kurt Angle and maybe Fit Findlay and Regal. I wouldn't take any WWE diva's because if anyone watched wrasslin they know that valets in those days were mostly older than dirt and looked like bar flies.
Wrasslin didn't focus too much on smaller guys and high flying so that disqualifies most of the stars of TNA. Jeff Jarrett, Abyss would suitable choices, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels are certainly good enough technically but may be a little too small for Wrasslin. Samoa Joe is probably a little to Puro for Wrasslin. Foreigners or people who look like foreigners in Wrasslin were usually relegated to mysterious gimmicks and Joe doesn't fit that bill.
There is no one in ECW at the moment that fits the bill for Wrasslin besides Kurt Angle and I included him in WWE. If you are talking about old ECW, then The Franchise and Taz, thats about it.

I chose these wrestlers so I could have a nice, balanced roster. For the most part, I tried to stay away from more lethargic power wrestling, although there are some big men. There is plenty of main event star power (RVD, Randy Orton, David Batista, Kurt Angle, Edge, Rhino, Christian Cage), high risk style (Sabu, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Chris Daniels, Sonjay Dutt, Alex Shelley, Petey Williams), and most importantly, great young guys with alot of future (Kenny Doan, Johnny Jeter, Mikey Mondo, Nickey Nemeth, and Nick Mitchell, Harry Smith, CM Punk, Brent Albright, Paul Birchall).
Also, there are quite a few guys that can handle things backstage (Tommy Dreamer, Paul Heyman, Al Snow, Terry Funk, Shane Douglas). Some people may disagree with my picks. Sure there are bigger names out there, but a wrestling roster is all about balance. If you just took the top guys in each fed, chaos would more than likely occur. I really like to stress the importance on the youth factor. If a major fed wants to stay afloat, the need to continue to develop talent.
