that is normal. I had the same surgery. How old ar you...me 42 for me my periods stopped 2 yrs later. As for the weight eat right eat plenty of fruits a veggs, watch you fat in take Things will get better...promise

I had the same problem. I'm going to assume you are taking some sort of fertility medication as well, such as clomid. The PCO alone can cause the weight gain, the fertility drugs made it worse for me. My doc put me on metformin, which not only helps with the weight gain but also may help you ovulate. Hope this helps.
