It means that you may be to old for him but he still like to get you in bed. You may be a very good looking 38 year old Lady. Not trying to be rude but that what it sounds like to me.

"That's not too bad," sounds awful to me. I think it means he thinks you're too old, but he's willing to see what you'll put out. At least until a younger babe comes along.
